In this project, we overhauled a failed perimeter drainage system in a 22x30 ft basement. The original install used corrugated pipe buried in sand—ineffective and prone to clogging. We replaced it with perforated PVC surrounded by clean 1" gravel to ensure long-term flow and durability. We also installed a waterproof membrane up to grade, not because of active leaks, but to future-proof the basement.
