Metalcasting: Techniques and Tips from Foundry Experts

Sand casting is a really cool jewelry making process that takes up very little space in the grand scheme of a studio layout. I love using the process to make really chunky, sturdy, sterling silver pieces. I first carved a ring out of wax here to create the cavity in the sand you see me pouring the metal in to.
