Today, a quantity control valve replacement (right on the back of the engine on this car) This car came from another garage that replaced the fuel rail, and no 1 injector, to try and cure a rough idle. After an hours diag, it was quite clear the rail pressure was all over the place, when the pressure control method was "quantity control valve". A quick directed tests concluded the valve was faulty. Cooler off and a few bits off to remove to get to it, customer is happy and is now trying to claim
