I finally got to try fresh citron fruit! This is one of the most rare citrus fruits out there. The fruit looks like a bumpy lemon- it has a thick pith and not much juice. The rind is incredible it tastes like a sweet lemon.The pulp tastes like a mix of grapefruit and lemons! I first candied a few slices with lavender (these will be done tomorrow) then I made a caramel with the rind. I added that caramel to a tentacle shaped mold!I got the mold off of Amazon and had a thought in my head to use it
