Is there a rule for mixing different size panels to connect to an mppt charge controller? I have a set of 24V panels. (6) are 320 watt and (2) is 370watt.

I am interested in analyzing the performance of the system after adding MPPT charge controller. can any one help me how can i performance this task with above mentioned experimental setup?

Is the tabbing in the module itself the weak link when it comes to overcurrent issues? It looks to me to be a lot lighter than the cables themselves.

Morning all, I have an MPPT charge controller rated for 40A, and can take an input of 12 or 24v, and output 12 or 24v.

Typical recommended MPPT nominal voltage input for a given system is double the battery bank voltage.

I have installed two 5kva MPPT inverters, each with separate battery bank and separate front end load of appliances. The only thing shared between both is PV input which is a 96 volt 6000 Watts array.
