India, March 21 -- In a remarkable display of endurance, discipline and teamwork, NCC cadets of Group HQs, Kohima successfully scaled Mt Saramati, the highest peak in Nagaland, at 6:30 am on Thursday.

Cadet Harnoor Kaur of Major Ajaib Singh Convent School, Jeon Wala was honoured at the block level, Kotkapura for her achievements in NCC. The honour was conferred by Tehsildar S Rupinder Singh Ball.
